Also known as flavus, this sunny crocus opens orange and turns a sunny yellow. This species naturalizes well, earning the RHS Award of Garden Merit (AGM 2003). Combines beautifully with purple crocus varieties in the landscape. Bulb size 5/7 cm.
Known as the first flowers of spring, Crocuses come in a variety of colors and signal the end of winter for many. The easy-to-grow flowers are a great addition to rock gardens, or scattered throughout the lawn. Crocuses open fully on bright, sunny days.
