The long-lasting brilliant yellow blooms of the Quail daffodil blossom in clusters of 2-4 flowers per stem. This Jonquilla daffodil has a sweet fragrance that lasts and lasts. Quail is the recipient of the Award of Garden Merit (AGM 1998) and the John and Gertrude Wister Award (2007) for outstanding garden merit. According to the American Daffodil Society, Jonquilla Daffodils as usually have several flower heads per stem. The flowers are often fragrant, and the stems are round. Jonquilla also have foliage that is sometimes described as 'rush-like.'
