Mallee has an incredibly soft pink cup on a white background. This lovely Split-Cupped Collar daffodil earned the AGM award in 2007. According to the American Daffodil Society, there are two types of Split-Cupped Daffodils: 'Collar' and 'Papillon.' The corona segments of Collar Daffodils are positioned 'opposite' the petal segments, usually in two whorls of three. Collar daffodils typically have a very frilly looking cup.
