Part of Rod Barwick's “Little Detective Series," Spoirot is named after Agatha Christie's fictional Belgian detective character, Hercule Poirot. Spoirot has a large, pale yellow and slightly greenish cup with like-colored slight petals and grass-like foliage. This distinctive Hoop Petticoat miniature naturalizes readily, filling the landscape with long lasting blooms for years to come. This Daffodil earned the Award of Garden Merit in 2011 (The Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit (AGM)). An American Daffodil Society Miniature. Bulbocodium Hybrids have a form that is quite different from other daffodils. The American Daffodil Society defines the small flowers as having a cup that resembles a 'hoop petticoat.'
