Shipping & Delivery Information

General Shipping

We generally ship within one to three days after receiving an order. All packages will be shipped via Ground delivery from New Hampshire, and will take between one and five business days to arrive, not including day of shipment or weekend days. If you prefer to have your order expedited, you may choose 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air service at checkout.

All our products are shipped via UPS, which requires a street address for delivery. We cannot be responsible for delivery problems due to incorrect addresses, so please check that you have typed in the correct information before placing your order.

We do not ship outside of the U.S., or to Alaska or Hawaii. Unfortunately, we cannot ship to an APO or FPO address.

Our UPS shipping charges are a reflection of the UPS costs we incur and are calculated in the same manner, allowing us to maintain our low product pricing. Expedited 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air shipping are also available. Shipping is calculated at checkout. Any shipping exceptions will be noted within the specific product or promotion.

Transportation delays based on weather and/or availability may impact delivery timeframes.

During warmer weather: Most potted bulb gardens are refrigerated until they are packaged for shipping. The sudden exposure to warmer air may result in some bulb growth in transit. Our summer shipping schedule is adjusted to minimize this by reducing time during shipment. You may wish to select an expedited shipping method depending on your location.

During colder weather: Some products, including Amaryllis and Paperwhites, may be sensitive to extreme cold. In order to reduce exposure to extended periods of freezing temperatures in transit, we may adjust our shipping schedule accordingly. You may wish to select an expedited shipping method depending on your location.

Fall Planting Bulbs & Pre-ordering 

When we receive your order for garden planting bulbs in the fall, we ship within one to two business days.

Bulbs pre-ordered during the spring and summer will ship within the first two weeks of fall. If you prefer a delayed ship date from our New Hampshire warehouse, please contact Customer Service at [email protected].

If you are unable to plant right away or your recommended zone planting date is forthcoming, simply keep the bulbs cool and dry. See detailed information in our Planting and Care Guides.

Garden of the Month Club

The first garden will be shipped within 1-3 days after receiving your order, and subsequent shipments will be shipped at the beginning of each month. Standard ground shipping is included in the purchase price of each multi-month program.
